No, it is closed during the winter. However, you are welcome to come and view the campsite. Please contact us in advance to arrange a visit. We are available daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on 0523 251 417.
Our reception is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day, and we are not available by telephone on these days. However, you can email us on those days at receptie@depallegarste.nl. We will respond as soon as possible.

Our AED is located in the laundrette. The laundrette door is always open, so you can access the AED at any time.

Yes, it is. Mariënberg station is about a 15-minute walk away. From there, you can travel directly to Emmen, Hardenberg, Ommen, Zwolle and Almelo.
You can park one car at your accommodation or camping pitch.
If you have a second car, or if your car does not fit on your pitch, you can park it for free in the car park opposite the campsite.
Yes, you can charge your electric car at De Pallegarste. The charging station is located just past the swimming pool on the right-hand side of the road. The charging station uses roaming. If the roaming function on your card or tag is enabled, you can use the station.
Yes, pets are allowed. There is a maximum of two pets per booking. If you have more than two pets, please contact reception on 0523-251417 or at reception@depallegarste.nl.
Your pet must always be kept on a lead at the campsite. You can fence off your pitch with wire mesh and stakes to keep your dog safely on the pitch.
There is a special dog walking area opposite the campsite where dogs can run around and play.
Yes, there are pet-free accommodation options and campsites where pets are not allowed.
When using the search and booking function, you can indicate that you want to book a pet-free accommodation or camping spot. You will then only see the available pet-free accommodation and pitches.
There is a large dog park opposite the campsite where dogs can run around and play. There are also several other nice areas for walking dogs in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.
About a 15-minute walk away is a wooded area with a sandy plain. This is ideal for a nice walk with your dog. Walk in the direction of Mariënberg station. Shortly after crossing the railway tracks, turn left onto the footpath. After a few hundred metres, the wooded area will be on your right.
De Oldemeijer, a beautiful and diverse nature reserve, is just a 10-minute drive from the campsite. There are various walking routes ranging from 4 to 12 kilometres that you can enjoy with your dog.
If you have a CKE or CampingCard ASCI card, you will receive a discount on your stay during certain periods. Please inform us when making your reservation if you have a discount card. The discount applies exclusively to Comfort Camping pitches and will be deducted automatically if your card is valid.
Please note that the discount does not apply to pitches with private sanitary facilities or to accommodation.

Pitches that are not renewed will not be returned to the rental market as pre-season or season pitches. However, you can choose from various other packages, such as June or September. Click here to view all our current packages.

No, our campsite is intended exclusively for tourists and recreational visitors. Migrant workers and Dutch labourers are not considered tourist tenants and are therefore not allowed to stay.

Yes, that is possible. Would you like to choose a specific camping spot or type of accommodation? If so, you can simply click on your desired location on the map during the online booking process.
The cost of reserving a preferred spot is:
- Accommodation and private sanitary facilities: € 40,00
- Camping pitch: € 15,00
You can participate in our cancellation fund. Please note that no full refund will be given in the event of cancellation or early departure. The cancellation fund amounts to 5.5% of the total accommodation costs plus € 7,50 in policy costs, with a minimum charge of € 20,00. A separate cancellation fund must be taken out for each reserved camping pitch and/or accommodation.
Cancellation insurance must be added during the booking process or within 24 hours of reservation confirmation to be valid. It will not be possible to add it 24 hours after confirmation of the reservation.
You can cancel via the cancellation fund in the event of:
- Death, sudden illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants;
- Premature termination of your holiday due to the death of a first-degree relative of the main person or one of the participants;
- Necessary relocation of the main person due to medical reasons, renovation or change of workplace;
Involuntary unemployment of the main person.
The cancellation fund does not apply in the event of flu, bad weather, or an inability to take time off work.

Once you have made your booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing a payment link. This will contain a payment link and details of the payment terms.
The following payment terms apply when you book your holiday with us:
- First instalment: Pay 15% of the total amount within 14 days of booking.
- Second instalment: 35% of the total amount, 90 days before arrival.
- Third instalment: 50% of the total amount, payable 30 days before arrival.
We are sorry to hear that you cannot go on your holiday!
If you have taken out cancellation insurance with us, it will reimburse you for any costs incurred as a result of cancelling in the following circumstances. It is important that you can provide an official statement from a relevant authority, such as a GP.
You can cancel via the cancellation fund in the event of:
- Death, sudden illness or accident of the main person or one of the participants;
- Premature termination of your holiday due to the death of a first-degree relative of the main person or one of the participants;
- Necessary relocation of the main person due to medical reasons, renovation or change of workplace;
- Involuntary unemployment of the main person.
The cancellation fund does not apply in the event of flu, adverse weather conditions, or an inability to take time off work. Therefore, we are unable to offer a refund in the event of cancellation or early departure.
Did you take out cancellation insurance with us or with an external party? If not, the cancellation will be processed in accordance with the Recron terms and conditions. This means that you will either pay us a fee or this will be deducted from the amount already paid.
Cancellation fees (excluding € 9 administration and reservation costs):
- Cancellation more than three months before arrival: 15% of the total amount.
- Cancellation within three to two months before arrival: 50% of the total amount;
- Cancellation within two to one month before arrival: 75% of the total amount.
- Cancellation within one month of arrival: 90% of the total amount.
- Cancellation on the day of arrival incurs a charge of 100% of the total amount.
You will always receive a cancellation confirmation from us. Do you have cancellation insurance with an external insurer? If so, you can send this confirmation to your insurer as proof.
